ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book provides a range of inspiration, across a range of settings and environments. It aims to take the ideas and develop them to suit teachers' individual needs, their setting and most importantly their children. Planning serves several purposes: it ensures teachers to have the right resources and the correct staffing; it helps them to maintain the learning experiences that have been inspired inside the classroom; it provides evidence of the delivery of a broad curriculum; and it allows them to make the necessary observations and assessment. Making note of how the children learnt allows teachers to ensure that future experiences are tailored to these needs. This evaluation will also highlight how secure and confident their children are becoming, whether they are independent doers and thinkers, how their friendships are developing and whether they are able to work with their friends.
