ABSTRACT

A migrant lawfully resided in a host country for 14 years, when he decided to visit his home country for six months. On his return, he was refused entry to the host state without being given any explanation. The authorities had received some information about the migrant being involved in some unspecified ‘illegal activity’ in his home country but gave no detail or reasons to him.
