ABSTRACT

Known regularities describing objects behavior in composites industry can be conditionally divided into two groups: deterministic; under uncertainty. The boundary that separates a random event from a non-random event is very fuzzy. The experiment is the realization of some set of conditions that can be reproduced many times. An event is understood as the result of experience or observation. Events can be elementary and compositon. An elementary event occurs as a result of a single experience. A compound event is a collection of elementary events. The totality of events that can be realized as a result of an infinite number of similar experiences is called a general population. In probability theory and statistics, the Poisson distribution is a discrete probability distribution that expresses the probability of a given number of events occurring in a fixed interval of time and/or space if these events occur with a known average rate and independently of the time since the last event.
