ABSTRACT

In Chapter 2, we have seen two versions of an introductory simulation script: a basic one, with just one cell and a more complex one, with two cells and a few obstacles. Here we present the same script one more time, in a version that looks closer to how a researcher might use it, even though we keep the scaleddown cells (radius of r = 2µm) and corresponding (non-physical) coefficients. Simulation parameters for regular red blood cells can be found in Appendix F.
