ABSTRACT

Graphene, a two-dimensional, atomically thin layer of sp2-hybridized carbon, possesses remarkable attention and intensive research interest due to its spectacular properties such as very high electrical conductivity, better thermal properties, and exceptional mechanical strength, which makes as an exciting material for many fields. This chapter discusses the recent advancement in the development of graphene-based hybrids. We focus on the advantages of graphene-based composites for the applications of energy storage and energy conversion applications, especially in the fields of lithium ion batteries, electrochemical supercapacitors, and fuel cells.
