Managing director Freddy Fortune is considering taking a more powerful approach to the career policy within Dinner Ltd. He talks about this with commercial director Gerald Glass who is not very enthusiastic yet. Gerald wonders what the added value of career interviews is, while they are already conducting performance evaluation interviews. In his opinion, the wishes of the employees with regard to their career can be addressed during these interviews. In addition, if employees want something else, they will indicate that themselves.
