ABSTRACT
Ethics involves decision making about right and wrong behavior regarding courses of action that have the potential to affect others in significant ways. Deontological or duty-based ethics, utilitarian ethics, ethics based on codes, standards, and procedures, and virtue ethics approach bullying from different vantage points. Each approach is based on different assumptions about how to protect and promote the human good. This chapter considers several ethical perspectives from which to view bullying.
