ABSTRACT
The continued increase in the cost of chemicals, energy and water makes their recovery more important today than it was 35 years ago when ultrafiltration and hyper filtration were first introduced to the textile industry. While the filtration techniques have been used at only a few installations, these plants have been able to save enough to pay for the recovery process in one to two years. One key to having a successful recovery operation is to have good automatic control of the process.
