ABSTRACT

In this study, we analyze the current state of the Russian language in the Russian society as well as the problems associated with language education of future kindergarten teachers. The objective of this study was to define the changes in the modern Russian language and the quality of language education of future kindergarten teachers. The main methods used were theoretical analysis of the literature on the problem of the research (changes in modern Russian language and language illiteracy), tests, survey, and monitoring, as well as analysis of the research results. A test on the Russian language and speech culture was carried out, which revealed some gaps in different branches of the language. We discuss about our views on the tasks that correspond to the context of teaching the Russian language and speech culture. We also analyze the types of mistakes that are usually made by students. Finally, we provide recommendations on the solution of the problems that may be applied in practice, and to monitor the academic progress of the students.
