ABSTRACT
Air sampling is only part of a total health and safety program. Major objectives for any company or facility must be to prevent disasters inside the facility and to avoid contributing to a disaster outside the facility. Another important goal is to prevent traumatic injury from falls, burns, cuts, and striking or being struck by other objects. Workers and others must also be protected from physical agents including noise, heat, and radiation, both ionizing and non-ionizing.
