In Chapters 10 and 13 we were dealing with several kinds of “small" subsets of the real line R and, more generally, with analogous subsets of an uncountable Polish topological space E, instead of R. Among “small" sets the so-called absolute null sets (or universal measure zero sets) are of special interest from the point of view of topological measure theory.
