ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book also presents innovative technologies for designing and analyzing adaptive backstepping control systems involving treatment on actuator failures, subsystem interactions and non smooth nonlinearities. The main control objectives are to achieve desired regulation of the system outputs while ensuring the boundedness of all closed-loop signals. Compared with the existing literature in the related areas, novel solutions to the following challenging problems are provided in series. The book discusses the decentralized adaptive tracking of uncertain interconnected systems. It explores the distributed adaptive coordinated control of uncertain multi-agent systems under directed graph condition. The book deals with interconnected systems, which are multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems as a whole. It also explores some interesting problems which have not been extensively in adaptive failure compensation, decentralized/distributed adaptive control of interconnected systems.
