ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses designed a vector control system of a soft magnetic composite transverse-flux Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) based on TMS320F28335. It analyzes the mathematical models of PMSM, the principle of vector control and the design method of digital PID controllers. The chapter describes the hardware circuit design scheme and the software flow charts of the vector control system. It explores the experimental research of the control system was carried out on the experimental platform. PMSM control system has been widely used in many high accuracy control field, such as aerospace, CNC machine tool, electric vehicle and so on. The control system is composed of the hardware circuit and software system. The experimental results show that vector control system has good dynamic and static performances and verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the design scheme.
