ABSTRACT

This chapter utilizes the Apriori algorithm based on Hadoop to analyze the relationship between the composition of family members, the area of housing, the annual income, the type of household appliances, the awareness of energy saving, the maximum temperature, and the daily household electricity consumption. It provides the relationship between six dimensions and household electricity consumption on the basis of 9132 households’ electricity information from August 2014 to December 2014. The chapter proposes algorithm to analyze the relationship between the household electricity consumption and six dimensions of family structure, housing area, household income, appliance type, energy-saving awareness, daily maximum temperature, and daily consumption. With the rapid development of the Chinese economy, people’s quality of life generally improved, which gradually increased the residential electricity consumption. The independent system has accumulated a large number of residential electricity information. The experimental results show that the improved Apriori algorithm has a significant improvement in the data processing ability.
