ABSTRACT

The Underwater Unmanned Vehicle (UUV) is an important piece of equipment for ocean exploration. Limited by its own carrying power, the UUV has a weak endurance. This chapter utilizes the ANSOFT simulation software to establish the mutual inductance model and the excitation model of a wireless power transmission system. It also utilizes the finite element method to analyze coupler parameters. The chapter describes a scheme that designs a new type of electromagnetic coupler for a wireless charge of the UUV underwater using wireless charging technology. It is based on the traditional power supply method of analyzing the UUV. The chapter show that a new underwater electromagnetic coupler and establish a transformer model and a field model of the transmission system. With its own various sensors and weapons, the UUV can complete a series of important military missions such as remote communication relay, anti-submarine alert, underwater reconnaissance and surveillance, and mine submarine.
