ABSTRACT

This chapter proposes a new method combining Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition (EEMD) and Teager-Kaiser Energy Operator (TKEO). It chapter describes the original vibration signals are decomposed into several Intrinsic Mode Functions from high frequency to low frequency according to the EEMD method, so that the continuity of the signal and the mixing of the modal signal can be realized. The chapter explores the energy required to generate the signal is tracked according to the TKEO method, and then spectrum analysis are conducted in the frequency domain. Based on of EEMD analysis and the envelope spectrum analysis of instantaneous amplitude, the fault frequency of rolling bearing can be obtained, which can effectively identify the fault location of the rolling bearing. The method of based on EEMD and Teager energy operator is an effective method to extract bearing fault signals.
