ABSTRACT

Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is widely used in many high-performance servo control system due to its advantages of high efficiency, high power density, simple structure, etc. This chapter analyzes the power conversion circuit of a single-phase AC input PMSM control system. The capacity of the filter capacitor, the on-state current of the rectifier and the current capacity of the inverter were analyzed in detail and then the calculation formulas of the above key parameters were derived. Three phase full-bridge topology is usually used in the inverter circuit of the PMSM control system. It is one of the key procedures to design the key parameters of the power conversion circuit including the on-state current of the rectifier bridge BR, the capacity of the filter capacitor C and the current capacity of the inverter circuit.
