ABSTRACT

The Thirteen Commandments are the core rules, if the game players will. They represent the fundamental precepts for promoting change and have stood the tests of time and action. Build their power through the cycle of action, involvement, communication, decision making, and new action. The power of the individual and the power of the group must grow and accelerate. The more players know about their community, issue, supporters, your strategies, and any opposition they face, the more focused and productive their actions will be. People respond more quickly and purposefully to things that prick their self-interest than to anything else. These are spots of sensitivity and vulnerability. This is true for both supporters and opponents. Only in rare cases should they act for someone instead of with them. These exceptions—for example, acting on behalf of infants—occur when the beneficiaries of action are truly incapable of acting on their own behalf.
