ABSTRACT

This chapter offers a comprehensive guide to organize, define specific roles and group agreements as well as run peer supervision group processes. The processes are best suited for peer group supervision between practitioners, none of whom is trained as a supervisor. Through group supervision, peers explore their work in a thought-provoking way both for their own benefit and for the benefit of their clients and the wider system.

In order for the peer supervision group to flourish, there are defined Contracts and contracting elements that are outlined, how to vet and introduce new group members and ideas for continued development to keep the group fresh. To make an informed choice about peer group supervision, there is comparison of group to individual peer supervision and tips on how to find a group or include with professional supervision.
