ABSTRACT
The paper deals with solution of the process of evaluation and selection of suppliers through software support SAS in JMP environment. The intention of the authors is to outline modern tools, methods and trends in procurement. For evaluation of suppliers, we used several methods, by which we compared individual criteria facilitating the selection of the final supplier, such as price, quality, type of material, reliability, supplier’s location. Suppliers of the selected company were evaluated by the scoring model and selection of suppliers was done in the JMP program, based on single criterion and as well on multi-criteria decision-making. The program allows to filter data based on various criteria and to create new tables with the search results, which contributes to ensuring the continuity of business operations. The benefit is a created database of suppliers in the JMP programming environment, containing all relevant data and information needed to support decision-making.
