ABSTRACT

The learning strategy ‘Everyone is a teacher here’ gives an opportunity for the student to act as a teacher for the other students. Therefore, this study aims at investigating the impact of the implementation of the ‘Everyone is a teacher here’ strategy on the result study of students in the Geography subject. The participants of this study were the students of eighth grade at SMP Negeri 1 Belitang III East OKU. The research was conducted through quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The data was collected by an instruments test. The obtained data was analyzed statistically using an independent t-test. The results show that the students’ results at an experiment class were higher than the students’ results at a control class. This means that the implementation of the ‘Everyone here is a teacher’ strategy gave positive impact in enhancing the students’ learning outcome. The t-test analysis confirms the significance of the students’ results improvement at an experiment class compared to the students at a control class.
