ABSTRACT

This study aimed to investigate the effect of hypnoteaching to increase students’ learning motivation in civic subject. The method used in this research was the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Methods of data collection were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The results showed that the learning process using hypnoteaching method in the first cycle increased most of student motivation. The percentage of student who had a high motivation increased from 13.79% to 68.87%. The students’ motivation increased more in the second cycle, and reaches 83.45%.
