ABSTRACT

Monitoring LULC and landscape status using multi-temporal RSD is an important way for environmental impacts and ecological degradation monitoring caused by coal resource exploitation. In this research, multi–temporal RSD captured on 1994, 2004 and 2015, together with a vector map, are selected as raw data. On the basis of SVM classification and CA_Markov simulation results, 31 years’ dynamic changing trend and the relationship between LULC change and landscape ecology are analyzed. The results demonstrate that the ability of CA_Markov model used for LULC changing trend simulation, and shown the changing trend of different land cover types, including water body, built-up area, farmland, bare land, etc. The signification of the research is that the effectiveness of RSD and CA_Markov model for landscape ecology changing monitoring and prediction are experimented and testified in mining area. Outcomes will certainly helpful to popularize the applicability of the strategies to environmental protection and utilization.
