ABSTRACT

The contents of As and Pb in the turf soil on the golf course do not exceed the national standard limit but are higher than the background values. The Cd and Hg contents and the Cr contents in the fairway plow pan and plow layer of the putting green exceed both the national standard limit and the background values, thereby presenting as erious enrichment phenomenon. The vertical distribution of soil heavy metals in the turf soil on the golf course is mainly influenced by the applied quantity of chemical fertilizers and rainfall capacity, where as the soil heavy metal contents of different turfs on the golf course are determined by the quality of applied fertilizers.
