ABSTRACT

According to the project case that the shield machine crosses Yong River in the interval from Datong Bridge Station to Zhongxing Bridge South Station of TJ3101 Bid for Line 3 of Ningbo Rail Transit, in this article, the selection of shield machines based on engineering hydrographic, geologic, and environmental risks, and comprehensive management of the shield machine with regard to earth pressure, discharge volume, thrust force, tunneling speed, construction gap filling and other parameter settings are mainly summarized. And also, it develops measures including detailed monitoring, spewing prevention, roof caving prevention and seepage prevention in advance, and finally achieves controllable quality and safety as well as remarkable economic benefit, and works out the construction method for shield machines crossing rivers, which provides plentiful experience for the design and construction.
