ABSTRACT

In this chapter, readers will learn about FRLD behaviors that support strategic leadership initiatives, why these behaviors are important to leaders and followers, what their outcomes are for organizational members, and how to put them into practice in organizations. Topics of executive responsibilities, balancing financial and non-financial performance with FRLD behaviors, triple bottom line, social entrepreneurship, and environmental and workplace safety issues are highlighted. Recommendations for leaving one’s own FRLD legacy of prosperity and wellbeing are then provided. Summary questions and reflective exercises are also presented.
