ABSTRACT

The US Cyber Command will be given more autonomy and visibility as a separate entity, after splitting off from the intelligence-focused National Security Agency. Hopefully, this will intensify America's ability to wage cyberwar against cyber terrorism armies in the world. The United States has the biggest technology think tank in the world and in the next decade nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be the prime components of digital immunity, which will be molecular and immersed in all our computing devices. On a more grandiose scale, nanotechnology and AI will make great contributions to Smart Cities. AI will replicate the human immune system and create digital immunity (DI) for the digital world. DI will have the intelligence of the machine and the intelligence of an immunologist fused together. Smart Cities will be the prime beneficiaries of DI. The Smart City will be armed with a magical shield that will trap and immobilize smuggling attackers like a bear trap.
