ABSTRACT

Quoting the Greek philosopher Heraclitus's famous statement "The only thing that is constant in this world is change," computer technology is constantly evolving into disruptive mode, which creates a new market and network but hurts established customers and products. Many of the antivirus technology (AVT) software companies have not brought out any revolutionary products equivalent to the iPhone. Microsoft also has its System Center 2012 R2, where an endpoint protection manager deploys and configures endpoint protection, manages firewall settings, configures anti-malware policies, updates antivirus definitions, manages email alerts, and creates reports. AVT companies had to march to Microsoft's drumbeat and cautiously not step on the turf of the software giant. Hardware vendors also paid homage to Microsoft. AVT software doesn't have the logic to work with Smart Grids. It is a crucial component of the Smart City. AVT software has not progressed at the same pace as malware software.
