ABSTRACT
Writing a paper based on a movie based on a paper about visual cognition is meta. My introduction to Barbara Tversky’s work was a seminar lecture on diagrams at a Gordon Conference in Oxford in 2009. With slide after slide of arrows, colliding comic book frames and Steinberg illustrations, clearly her topic had cinematic potential.
