ABSTRACT
Academic work frequently involves explaining a link between a cause, such as a price rise, and an effect or result, such as a fall in demand. Alternatively, research may begin with a result, such as the French Revolution, and discuss possible causes. This unit demonstrates and practises two methods of describing the link, with the focus either on the cause or on the effect.
