ABSTRACT

Use the Teddy Game pictures (except 'glasses') to make a set of single items and a set of pairs of the some items, eg two apples, etc. Take turns with the child to pick up the pictures in random order, saying what is in the picture (for example 'A boot', 'Two cups, etc). Use the snake as a reminder when necessary. Once the child can do this task with reasonable success, teachers and teaching assistants should be alerted to give gentle reminders when the child forgets his plurals in everyday speech.
