ABSTRACT

The countries dominated by modern revisionism are "living examples" of using profits "to give impetus to enterprise management." "In crossing the sea, each of the eight immortals displayed its magic power." Working in collusion, the "eight immortals" — the capitalist-roaders, the capitalists, the speculators, the sinister contractors, the new well-to-do peasants, those who have committed the crime of corruption, the swindlers, and the embezzlers — are running wild. From cities to rural areas, from production to marketing, from economic departments to government offices, the capitalist forces are rampant, indulging in speculation, stockpiling, raising commodity prices, and swindling. Working hand in glove, the capitalist-roaders within enterprises and government agencies practice embezzlement and engage in corruption. Socialist ownership by the whole people has degenerated into ownership by the privileged class, which is manipulated by a handful of capitalist-roaders and the newly emerged bourgeois elements.
