READ: “I Have Feelings”. (This first time, encourage the children to listen rather than guess each feeling. You
will read the book again and then they will have the opportunity to predict.)
DISCUSSION: How do you know how someone is feeling? Look at the bear faces on the inside cover. What
is each face feeling? Read the book again and this time before you turn the page, show each feeling to the
children and have them predict what feeling word is coming.
