ABSTRACT
The Preverbal Skills of Language cube (Figure 4) has a preverbal skill either written or illustrated on each side. This cube can be used as a dice to select a skill. The teacher rolls the dice or the students take turns to roll the dice to determine which skill they are going to practise. The teacher or a student then selects an activity from the appropriate section of the 'Preverbal Skills of Language' activity box:
