ABSTRACT

Creative drama requires little in the way of elaborate props or expensive equipment. However, a sturdy CD player (which has the right adaptor and someone who knows how to work it!) is a valuable asset. A selection of CDs should be carefully chosen for appropriate movement and relaxation exercises. In addition, it is helpful to have a supply of large sheets of paper, a quantity of felt tip pens, an unlimited supply of newspapers and some large cardboard boxes. For role play exercises it may be appropriate to accumulate a general ‘dressing up’ collection including a wide variety of hats and caps and perhaps some chiffon strips and scarves.
