ABSTRACT

Players sit in a circle. One player begins by throwing a ball or similar object to another player, at the same time calling out ‘water’. The player catching the ball has to quickly name an animal that lives in the water and call out another one of the elements, such as ‘air’, throwing the ball to another player. That player, in turn, answers with the name of a creature that flies in the air, calls out an element and throws the ball to a third person, and so on. The players are out, or have points deducted, if they name an animal that does not correspond to the given element, or name an animal where the element called out is ‘fire’. Each animal can only be named once.
