ABSTRACT

While one player waits outside the room, the other players agree on a proverb. The player then returns, and has to guess the proverb by asking questions. Each answer has to include (as cryptically as possible) one of the words of the proverb, and the words must be given in sequence. When all the words have been named once, the next player is questioned and gives his responses, starting with the first word of the proverb again. The dialogue continues until the player asking the questions has guessed the answer. For example, the proverb is, ‘Better late than never’.
