ABSTRACT
Children with autism often have difficulty making up a story, but stories do not have to be entirely new to be used in play. In fact, all children base their stories on familiar themes, using a similar structure of events each time. Games that involve making up stories often have a built-in structure for children to follow to help with the creation of a story.
