ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses various methods, their alternatives, and related comments to guide group members for framing and presenting work, displaying work, and storing work. Ready-made frames can be purchased at low cost from some discount stores. The frames can be cleaned, rubbed down, and repainted in different ways, to suit the picture. Glass can be removed, and the frames used for more permanent pictures done with acrylic paint. Glass will be needed for any work that needs protection, such as watercolour paintings, pastel works and charcoal sketches. Some people will be very keen to find exhibition space, but this may not always be as straightforward as it seems. It is helpful to remember to put a name and date on the work, and to give it a title.
