ABSTRACT
The articles, book chapters, monographs and books included here focus almost exclusively on the impact of education on the number of children women bear. Some of these studies relate fertility to education via the relation between women’s education and access to the workforce. Others see fertility reduction as the key to national economic development and thus see women’s contribution to development in terms of contraception and limiting population growth.
