ABSTRACT
This story came about by chance. We were talking in school one day about ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and how the story can be presented in so many different ways. For example, there is the familiar and rather comfortable fairy tale that is used in so many homes and schools, as well as the darker, more adult version by the late Angela Carter, and the quite scary film by Neil Jordan. Someone jokingly remarked that the Wolf gets a bad press simply by being a wolf, and so this version came about.
