ABSTRACT

This chapter includes several case studies. Some are from the first edition as they provided the first really significant evidence of the potential of Systems Leadership and actually stood up to judicial scrutiny and were formally stated to have delivered high productivity improvement. The chapter examines the four new case studies and then returns to the major case that established Systems Leadership as a highly successful approach and had a significant impact not only on the organisations concerned but society itself. The leadership of the organisation brings about change. Overall a change process is a partnership between the leadership, advisers (internal and external) and the members/employees of the organisation. The chapter demonstrates that Systems Leadership can and does make a significant difference and help to create a positive and productive organisation in any sector.
