ABSTRACT

A Light Cue must first be inserted into workspace in order to command any attributes of lighting system. Once a Light Cue is inserted into cue list, the Inspector can be used to access the control functions for this cue. There are four tabs within the Inspector: Basics, Triggers, Levels, and Curve Shape. Light Cues with a series of commands may have multiple commands that relate to the same instruments. The Curve Shape tab behaves in a similar fashion to other cue types, allowing the programmer to change the curve shape for up fades and down fades while adjusting the fade time. The up arrow is used for selecting the previous command and experimenting with its levels. When creating a traditional light plot, the lighting designer assigns a control channel to each instrument on the plot that corresponds to its patched address.
