ABSTRACT

Students seem especially focused in many classes during the first 15 minutes of a given class. The effective use of educational interrupters throughout a class period can radically improve the efficiency of instruction. Near the beginning of a presentation or lecture the listeners are processing material at a high rate, but as time passes, the quality of the reception of material declines. The opportunities to positively impact young people's lives are treasured events and add substance to the teaching career. The player/coach structure should be modelled for the entire class by the teacher and a selected student. Some classes can present genuine control and management challenges that drain the energy and time of a teacher and result in a diminished learning environment. The teacher can put much energy into getting the students to pay attention and cooperate, the energy that could be spent better in learning activities. Teaching in a block schedule will create and refresh their teaching style.
