ABSTRACT

Love is quantifiable and so are the social and emotional commitments we have to those people we identify with and who form part of the inner circle. Individuals in the inner circle are there because of a shared identity. Identity can be attributed to one's gender, race, religion, social class or ethnic origin. This is fundamental to understanding Entanglement, which states we are entangled with some people and these relationships do impact our behavior in the world. The basic prediction inherent in this theory is that group membership will produce discrimination that favors the in-group at the expense of the out-group. In the practice of Conscientious Engagement, new entangled relationships are born out of Spirit Consciousness, which because of their alignment to the life purpose, will produce an abundance of creative energy, the level of energy needed to have courage, to fight for what matters, to stay involved in the most important social movement of the time.
