ABSTRACT
Material-technical supply is the supply of materials and equipment. The material-technical supply plan is a component of the whole national economic plan. Because there are many, many kinds of social products, we cannot include all of them in the material-technical supply plan. The number of producer goods included in the material-technical supply plan is determined by the index of materials subject to unified distribution. This index is compiled according to the production, consumption, and supply characteristics of each product and their roles in the national economy. The quantity needed for operational and maintenance uses include materials required for regular maintenance and repair of the normal wear and tear on fixed assets, for the operation and management of the production enterprise, for creating normal working conditions, and for packaging and decorating products in the production process. The major bases for calculating the need for materials used in production and operation are all the targets stipulated among the computing items.
