ABSTRACT

The material-technical supply in the national economy is the supply of producer goods to the various sectors of the national economy, which is a necessary condition for achieving expanded output. Here material refers to raw materials, processed materials, fuels, and electric power. Technical refers to machinery and equipment. The most basic task of the material-technical supply plan in the national economy is: to supply continuously, punctually and completely each sector of the national economy with producer goods — equipment, raw materials, processed materials, fuels, and electric power. Production reserves also require a certain amount of materials. Production reserves are the reserves of materials of the consumption unit. They consist of regular reserves and emergency reserves. Mobilizing internal resources plays a significant role in augmenting the total volume of material resources. Examples are using the reserves that exceed the fixed quotas in various branches and recycling scrap iron and steel and the timber used in mining.
