ABSTRACT
In accordance with the directives of Chief Lin and the General Political Department, and on the basis of education in domestic conditions and policies, the Party Committee of the Military Region has decided to launch a "Two Remembrances and Three Investigations" educational campaign among the troops of the entire Region during the first quarter of 1961. The two remembrances (remember class hardship, remember national hardship) and the three investigations (of standpoint, of the determination to fight, and of work) are class education, traditional education, and a living education. They are an extremely effective method for heightening the troops' class consciousness and determination to fight, and are the keys for educational cadres and soldiers in applying the methods of class viewpoint and class analysis to assess problems and distinguish right from wrong. The stages of recalling hardships, making comparisons, and thinking of sweetness are the crucial ones for the success of the "Two Remembrances and Three Investigations" educational movement.
