ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the sixth step in the Training Manager's job: assembling the training resources and implementing the training process. When the training plan is complete, it will be evident what resources are required to carry it out. They can be broadly classified as: development time; delivery time; performance aids and training aids; and space. Within this step, assembling the resources and implementing the plan, there are a number of tasks which may be carried out at different times by course developers and deliverers. Within this Step 6, assembling the resources and implementing the plan, there are a number of tasks which may be carried out at different times by course developers and deliverers. They are: develop self-instructional materials; make videotape; operate and maintain all audio and visual aids; deliver a conventional lesson; conduct a discussion; set up and run a business game; organize and supervise practical work; record the training and commission and control bought-in resources.
