ABSTRACT

This chapter shows how to assemble clips and polish them into their final form. It reviews some general suggestions and then introduces a couple of aspects of video production that are key to nightscape time-lapses. There are many ways of creating movies and videos out of individual clips, music and still images. All time-lapse video clips benefit from having a title, music, and a concluding fade-to-black transition. Creating a title in Adobe Premiere Pro: Choosing the Legacy Title; entering the text; resizing and positioning the text box; choosing the font and adding the title to the timeline, circled. Premiere Pro gives the artist total control over the output format of their finished video. The Output window seen allows the artists to alter the video format; apply a preset for a specific outlet; and adjust the resolution and frame rate. Once the artist have set these parameters and selected the Entire Sequence, click Export to begin the final exporting process.
